Live Music

Even if the kitchen isn’t finished yet, we had another great few days in Le Pub Hua Hin watching sports, drinking cocktails, having beers and wine and now we come to our first live music performance.

We are honoured that the Thairish band has agreed to do a few sessions with us and let us enjoy their music.

The Thairish band has made their fame in several venues in Hua Hin and surrounding and will make us long for their return to Le Pub Hua Hin.

They will perform this Wednesday 2 December 2020 from 7 pm. Make sure you are in time to get a great spot to enjoy them.

How is Le Pub the End of November

On Friday the 19th November we opened our doors at the first time. We didn’t announce it in any big way as we didn’t want the staff to be in trouble on their first day of work.
More people than expected came to have a look and luckily the Le Pub team did well, specially for their first day open. We are very proud of them and trust in them to give great service to our customers in the coming future.
We would also like to thank all the customers who came to enjoy a drink at Le Pub Hua Hin in the first week. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We also had some bad luck, as our kitchen hasn’t arrived yet. We have ordered a top notch industrial kitchen that some hotels will be envious of, but unfortunately shipping is difficult in this COVID-19 time.
Our kitchen got stuck with customs in China and we are right now still waiting for it to arrive and be built in. Soon as that is done, we will taste our menu ourselves first, so we can take some stuff off that we like least to keep our menu small, fresh, delicious and easy to maintain for our chef.

When the kitchen is here and we are not serving food yet, we will try (where possible) to give our customers some snacks sometimes to taste what we can do when the menu arrives, of course free of charge.

Once all the newness is off and our staff has been running a bit longer, we will try to get started with themed nights like Jazz Tuesday (jazz, blues and rock music) and Thursday Ladies Night (free cocktail for all ladies coming in). We will also try to book live bands for the weekends and maybe even DJ’s if there is enough appetite for this.

At the moment you can already enjoy sports on our 4 big screens that are all running True Visions. Last weekend we already had some Premier League fans in watching the matches.

How we are open now is what we call ourselves our soft opening period. Staff is still being trained and getting used to the place. If something goes wrong, we hope you understand, tell us and will let us improve. Our General Manager Jo will always be available to speak to you.

You can expect our official opening night around half December but we will keep you all posted here and on Facebook.

Some things of course depend on how busy it is, as we are fully aware, we are operating during Covid time. We hope, even though we are a young company, that we will build up a great number of loyal customers within a short period of time that make us enjoy running Le Pub Hua Hin even more.

Whats happening at Le Pub late September

As you have probably seen, we have started our Facebook campaign by advertising what will be like on opening by our “Soon at Le Pub Hua Hin” Images.

 

We are happy how many responses we got to that and hope we got you all a bit excited.

Hows thing now:
We are currently completely refurbishing our location, meaning:

  • New big bar in and outside
  • Advertising light signs so our clients can find us easy
  • Standing tables and bar stools so people can lounge and drink comfortably around the bar area
  • New tables and chairs for the inside area, to lounge or eat
  • Refurbish wooden floors
  • Make a concrete floor in the garden area so sofa’s can be placed in this relaxed area where you can enjoy a drink in privacy
  • Installing completely new industrial kitchen
  • Paint a lot of walls
  • Get all technical stuff installed as in; POS system, card payment system, top of the range sound system, 3 massive televisions, super fast WiFi
  • Lots more that we are forgetting to mention now.

Together with our chef we are developing a small but delicious menu for you guys to choose from with classic pub favourites like burger, spare ribs, steaks, pasta and more.

Next to a normal menu for late lunch or dinner we will have a snack menu. This snack menu is intended to share with your friends while drinking and enjoying Le Pub. Imagine things like small meatballs in gravy, sausage platter, pork or beef breaded roux balls and much more.

Right now we are fitting in the draft systems and will have 2 beers and 1 cider on the tap. The beers will be Leo and we are still doubting what the 2nd beer will be, either Calsberg or Asahi.
For all draft lovers, Leo will be 50 ฿ for a 33 cl and 70 ฿ for a 50 cl glass.
For a glass of Magnus Cider you will pay 120 ฿ for a 33 cl and 170 ฿ for a 50 cl glass.

We plan to do a lot with cheap pricing to support our customers in these challenging times, but our biggest attractions are the small beers.
Planned pricing:

Leo, Tiger, Chang and M beer all for 45 ฿ for a small bottle.
San Miguel Light, Tiger Light, Heineken en Singha beer for 60 ฿ per small bottle.

There is not a lot of places in Hua Hin where you can sit in a new stylish environment with professional staff where you can find those prices!

When you are building you will never know for sure when everything is ready, but we are aiming for a soft opening at the start of November and a Grand Opening in the middle of November.

What can you expect from Le Pub Hua Hin?

You can expect that we are the pub that we have all been waiting for. Next to sports on our big televisions (Premier League, Formula 1 etc.) later at night we will also have theme nights as in Jazz night, DJ night, Live Music night, Ladies night and much more to come in the form of events.

One of the big advantages of Le Pub Hua Hin is that we have room for 12 cars to park right at our doorstep and lots of motorbikes.
