How is Le Pub Hua Hin in July

It is still June and we are ticking off the last days before we enter July. The summer starts in Europe and here international schools go into their summer break.
Like last year it will be different from years we are used to, as Thailand doesn’t have a lot of tourists come in. Most people in Hua Hin are residents, long term expats and foreigners with houses or condo’s that come to enjoy this lovely country for several months.

We are so honoured to say that a lot of these people stayed loyal to us in these difficult times and came around to use our restaurant facilities. Specially our Sunday roasts are particularly popular and with a around 100 roasts served every Sunday for the last few weeks we feel very lucky.

Of course, we miss the live music performances like our house DJ’s; Marissa, Alleen & Vintega, regular bands like Thairish and the Martini Duo. We want to send them and whoever we forgot to mention our thoughts as it must be a very hard time with live performances not being allowed at the moment.

We hope we can get back to normal soon with a high vaccination rate and great times all over the world.

There are also so many positives to speak about. Dining in is possible and next to the Sunday roast we also have a new menu available that you can view here https://lepubhuahin.com/menu.
This new menu has been put together by our new head chef Gary Bond who many people around town know very well. He has kept some older all-time favourites on there after giving them his own brilliant twist and added new courses to the entire menu. We are now also introducing sandwiches so you can have a nice and light lunch with us.

Jonny from the popular mostly in Hua Hin based vlog  and YouTube channel “Jonny There Is Something Happening” took the time to interview Gary in the Le Pub Garden. You can see Gary from 6 minutes and 46 seconds.

Please support Jonny like he does us and subscribe to his YouTube channnel!

We would like to welcome Gary in the Le Pub Hua Hin team and look forward to enjoy his great food skills!

The main menu is available till 9 pm and after that there is still time to enjoy our fantastic snack menu till late.

As you know our 75-inch televisions are always on and showing you the latest sport events live or in replay.

Please all stay safe, check your temperature on entering and check in with our QR code and the ThaiChana application.

We hope to see you all soon, from Tuesday to Saturday from 1 pm and Sundays from 12.30 pm at Le Pub Hua Hin.

Le Pub Hua Hin updates for May 2021

Hua Hin has gotten a bit of a shock last month with several infections of COVID-19 appearing. Luckily the government officials here have responded with care and have taken several measures to assure a lower number of infections that is already showing. At the moment of writing there are 6 infections today in Prachuap Khiri Khan with 4 of them in Hua Hin and 2 of them in Pranburi.
One of the measures meant Le Pub Hua Hin has to close it doors at 9 pm every day until new announcements will come. Also all our live performances as in DJ’s and live bands are cancelled until further notice. We have taken all precautions like intensive cleaning, disinfecting and distancing for you to be safe enjoying your time at Le Pub Hua Hin.
Our opening times with the current regulations are from Tuesday to Sunday, 1 pm till 9 pm and we unfortunately are not allowed to serve any alcoholic beverages.

Even in this difficult time Le Pub Hua Hin does have exciting news. Our kitchen is of course open and we are making several changes to our menu. At the moment of writing most changes you will see is in the specials on the boards next to the bar. Think of courses like fish and chips on Fridays, liver and bacon, slow roasted pork belly, toffee pudding and apple crumble pie. All specials will be posted on our Facebook timeline.

Next to that we are introducing our weekly Sunday roasts that has already been a great success for the past two weeks. We offer several options small and large every Sunday!

CHICKEN – SMALL ฿ 175 LARGE ฿ 240
PORK LOIN – SMALL ฿ 190 LARGE ฿ 260
AUSTRALIAN BEEF SIRLOIN – SMALL ฿ 280 LARGE ฿ 350
LAMB SHOULDER – SMALL ฿ 280 LARGE ฿ 350
VEGGIE NUT ROAST – SMALL N/A  LARGE ฿ 240

Our Sunday roast goes very fast and for the first 2 Sundays we were completely sold out. Therefore, it is always best to book your table so we can make sure we have a seat for you. Your preference of food will be also appreciated with your booking, so we can make sure we do not run out of stock for your preferred choice. Please call 032904342 / 0954589296 to make your reservation.

We hope to see you soon at Le Pub Hua Hin and stay safe!

Live Music in Le Pub Hua Hin. We are back!

[Updated on 10/02/21 to add live performances]

After a period of being closed because of government precaution measures for COVID-19, we are happy to be back up and running.

We’ve been open for 3 full days now and so happy to see our regular customers returning and new customers coming in.

We had a great night last Tuesday with DJ Alleen and he will be back every Tuesday from 9 pm to show of his sorcery on Music Magic Tuesday.

Tonight and every Thursday in February we will be kicking off with DJ Marisa back in Le Pub from 9pm!

Every Thursday in February is Ladies Night in Le Pub and therefore all ladies will get a complimentary drink on entrance.

All be in Le Pub Hua Hin every Thursday Ladies!

When it’s “Finally Friday” we have DJ Vintega to give us that special weekend feeling. DJ Vintega will be spicing up the music on Friday 12 & 19 February (Friday 26 February is Buddhist’s day Makha Bucha and there will be no live performances, but Vintega will be back in March).

Unfortunately we had to close last new year’s eve, while we were all looking forward to Kanista, but they are back this Sunday to amaze us.

Sunday the 14th of February its Valentine’s day! Of course we have something planned. The Cycle Band will come over and play all your favourite tunes from 9 pm, so bring your sweet valentine and celebrate your day in style!

We know them already as they had 2 outstanding Live performances at Le Pub before, but on Sunday the 28th of February we can welcome the Thairish Band again to entertain all of our customers.

More live performances are to come this month and we will definitely be informing you when they get confirmed.

Stay tuned through our website, Facebook page, Instagram Feed and the TV’s in our place announcing and advertising our events.

Again, it’s good to be back, let’s all work together to let it stay that way.

We look forward to seeing you soon in Le Pub Hua Hin!

How is Le Pub the End of November

On Friday the 19th November we opened our doors at the first time. We didn’t announce it in any big way as we didn’t want the staff to be in trouble on their first day of work.
More people than expected came to have a look and luckily the Le Pub team did well, specially for their first day open. We are very proud of them and trust in them to give great service to our customers in the coming future.
We would also like to thank all the customers who came to enjoy a drink at Le Pub Hua Hin in the first week. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We also had some bad luck, as our kitchen hasn’t arrived yet. We have ordered a top notch industrial kitchen that some hotels will be envious of, but unfortunately shipping is difficult in this COVID-19 time.
Our kitchen got stuck with customs in China and we are right now still waiting for it to arrive and be built in. Soon as that is done, we will taste our menu ourselves first, so we can take some stuff off that we like least to keep our menu small, fresh, delicious and easy to maintain for our chef.

When the kitchen is here and we are not serving food yet, we will try (where possible) to give our customers some snacks sometimes to taste what we can do when the menu arrives, of course free of charge.

Once all the newness is off and our staff has been running a bit longer, we will try to get started with themed nights like Jazz Tuesday (jazz, blues and rock music) and Thursday Ladies Night (free cocktail for all ladies coming in). We will also try to book live bands for the weekends and maybe even DJ’s if there is enough appetite for this.

At the moment you can already enjoy sports on our 4 big screens that are all running True Visions. Last weekend we already had some Premier League fans in watching the matches.

How we are open now is what we call ourselves our soft opening period. Staff is still being trained and getting used to the place. If something goes wrong, we hope you understand, tell us and will let us improve. Our General Manager Jo will always be available to speak to you.

You can expect our official opening night around half December but we will keep you all posted here and on Facebook.

Some things of course depend on how busy it is, as we are fully aware, we are operating during Covid time. We hope, even though we are a young company, that we will build up a great number of loyal customers within a short period of time that make us enjoy running Le Pub Hua Hin even more.

We hope to see you soon at our venue; Le Pub Hua Hin!
